Program Title: Partnerships for Syunik – Enhanced Community-Based Social Services
Starting date: December 2023
Contract Length: 1 year (with possible extension)
Duty Station: Goris, Syunik, with occasional travel to PIN Yerevan office
The project officer would be the Goris/Syunik based liaison of and support all field activities of “Partnerships for Syunik – Enhanced Community-Based Social Services” project as well as other PIN activities of social sector. Facilitate meetings with project beneficiaries, advisory groups, municipality and USS teams as to project needs.
The project officer would work under direct line management of the Project Manager and will closely cooperate with other PIN departments, including Finance, Procurement, Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL), and Communication.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Actively participate and ensure needed documentation for project-related activities, including meetings and discussions with Advisory Groups.
- Support the implementation of FSTP processes within the project: sharing announcements, arranging meetings, participating in due-diligence visits, ensuring effective communication with project beneficiaries and stakeholders.
- Collect, review, and edit financial and narrative reports to meet quality and compliance standards with both the organization's and donor's reporting requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with project stakeholders.
- Ensure timely and quality maintenance and archiving of the project documentation in internal systems following PIN and donor procedures.
- Perform any other responsibilities or tasks specific to the project or organization as required.
Requirements:
- University degree in Humanitarian, Social studies, Public Administration and other related fields
- At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in NGO sector
- Proficient in identifying potential project risks and providing support in developing mitigation strategies.
- Proactive in assisting with problem-solving during project implementation.
- Experience in supporting stakeholder relations across various levels, including executives, business units, and external partners, to ensure effective project collaboration.
- Skilled in maintaining organized project documentation.
- Committed to assisting in maintaining the quality of project deliverables.
- Flexible in adapting to changing project requirements and priorities, with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively while maintaining performance standards.
- MS Office proficiency.
- Proficient in communicating clearly and concisely in English, and Armenian
