Child-friendly spaces in Vayots Dzor & Syunik

The decision to renovate and refurbish the two centers was made in close cooperation with local authorities, based on a comprehensive needs assessment that identified an urgent need for safe, structured spaces for children.

People in Need (PIN) is an international non-governmental organisation, founded in 1992 in the Czech Republic. We implement humanitarian and long-term development programmes in more than 30 countries across the globe.

PIN first came to Armenia with a humanitarian initiative during the devastating Spitak earthquake, even before the organisation was formally registered by its founders.

In 2003, the PIN Armenia office was officially established. Since then, we have been supporting the development of an active civil society, promoting inclusive governance, advancing sustainable livelihoods and environmental resilience, and providing timely humanitarian assistance to communities affected by crisis across Armenia.
