Contract Type: fixed term (with possible prolongation)

Location: Yerevan

Finance Officer will be responsible for overall management of assigned finance and administrative agendas including verification of compliance with PIN policies.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
-    Gathering/preparing and archiving financial documentation, being directly responsible for proper form and content of these documents;
-    Posting cash vouchers, invoices and advances in the accounting system (Navision), posting the bank payments and working with the vendor cards in the system;
-    Follow up with the financial documentation and contracts being properly processed through and archived in the archiving internal system (ELO), including the required attachments and links;
-    Providing technical support to Project Managers and support staff regarding PIN internal systems (ELO and Navision);
-    Participation in the preparation of documents for monthly tax payments in collaboration with the legal consultant;
-    Supervising administrative assistant for proper archiving of financial documents and contracts (both hardcopies and scans);
-    Responsible for all operations with cash and its security in the office (the only person having access to the safe) according to established internal procedure and Armenian legislation;
-    Communicating with the outsourced accounting company representatives, regarding the tax related matters, providing them with the necessary information for the calculation of taxes.
-    Facilitating the withdrawal of cash from the bank account; 
-    Involving in complex administrative procedures , communication with respective authorities, such as state registry, tax authorities, etc.;
-    Communicating with the accountants of suppliers regarding the VAT exemption, payments or other banking/PIN procedural issues;
-    Executing financial tasks under direct instruction and supervision of the Finance Manager (Supporting FM with the budgets, expenses or other mission financial related issues).
 
Requirements:

Education:
A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in finance, accounting.
Financial Knowledge:
Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting procedures, and financial reporting is essential. This includes knowledge of budgeting, financial analysis, and financial modeling.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Communication Skills:
Effective communication skills are important for interacting with colleagues, partners, and other stakeholders. This includes the ability to explain financial concepts to individuals who may not have a finance background.
Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and make informed recommendations.
Organization and Time Management:
The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines is crucial in a financial coordinator role.
Ethical Conduct:
Maintaining high ethical standards is essential in handling financial information and transactions. Financial coordinators should adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines.
Problem-Solving Skills:
The ability to identify and solve financial problems is important. This may involve troubleshooting discrepancies, optimizing financial processes, and proposing solutions to financial challenges.
Teamwork:
Collaboration with other departments and team members is often required, so being a team player is an important quality.
