Project Assistant

Term: Part-time

Duration: 1 year with possible extension
Reports to: Project Manager

We are seeking a proactive and organized Project Assistant to support our project team with administrative tasks. The role involves facilitating communication, supporting efficient project execution, and assisting with documentation, scheduling, and procurement. 

Project scope you will work on: Regional project ‘Resilient Civil Society in the Easter Partnership Region’ funded by the Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR).  

The project is aimed to strengthen the role of CSOs as resilient, inclusive, and trusted governance actors advancing the democratization process in the Eastern Partnership region. The project aims to empower CSOs to become more effective protectors of civic space and drivers of democratization, reform, and recovery processes in the Eastern Partnership region.  

Within the project, PIN provides capacity development, financial support, and national and regional networking facilitation and cross-learning opportunities to 10 small formalized CSOs, grassroots organizations, and new/emerging CSOs (created within the past 1 – 2.5 years) in Armenia. PIN’s primary role is to create conditions for local CSOs to forge their capacity development path via facilitated, participatory sessions and strengthen valuable collaborations among CSOs to drive change, navigate complexity, and stay resilient. 

What will be expected from you?

  • Support the Project Manager with administrative and project-related tasks. 

  • Coordinate with team members to ensure timely task completion. 

  • Prepare presentations, project plans, and materials. 

  • Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and vendors. 

  • Track project progress and milestones, assist with monitoring and evaluation. 

  • Organize and manage project documents (Armenian-English translations as needed). 

  • Coordinate meetings, events, and schedules. 

  • Support procurement processes, including preparing Purchase Request Forms (PRFs). 

What will be required for you to advance to the next stage of selection? 

  • An undergraduate or graduate degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. 
  • Up to 1 year of experience in project support or administration would be a plus. 

  • Strong communication skills in Armenian and English (written and verbal). 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems. 

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. 

  • Self-disciplined and eager to learn quickly.
